About Absinthia
Hi! I'm Abs, Founder of Absinthia's Bottled Spirits.
Named One of the Top Ten Spirited Women to Know by the East Bay Express, Nightclub and Bar's 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year, and Sunset Magazine's 2022 Best Woman Distiller with a Double Gold for Absinthia absinthe Verte and a Gold medal for Caged Heat cocktail syrup, I founded Absinthia's Bottled Spirits to celebrate bold and unique flavors using artisan mixers and spirits made from high quality, organic ingredients.
I first tasted absinthe in November 1996, and shared my first bottle of absinthe on April Fool's Day, 1997. Ten years later, on March 5, 2007, absinthe became available for sale in the US. Ten years after that, on May 14, 2018, I went from a bootlegger to award winning absintheure when I was awarded my first gold medal from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for the first batch of Absinthia absinthe blanche. I know hold three golds from that competition for the blanche, verte, and Fairy Dust, and I was recently named Best Woman Distiller by Sunset Magazine.
The syrups, co-created with award winning mixologist Jared Hirsch, are made with all natural ingredients, while our spirits are made with all organic ingredients.
I care about the ingredients and flavor as much as I do your cocktails and mocktails.
