Maison Premiere Sazerac
1 tsp Absinthia Absinthe Superieure
1 1/2 oz rye whiskey
1/4 oz simple syrup (two parts sugar, one part water)
6 dashes bitters
Coat the entire glass with the absinthe and an ice cube. Discard the ice and excess absinthe, and set aside. Add the remaining ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake well and pour into the prepared glass. Garnish with lemon twist.
