Absinthia Barrel-Aged Absinthe is hand-crafted from our Absinthe Verte, then rested in retired rye oak barrels for six months to achieve a distinctive flavor from the unique aging process.

During its repose, the rye oak barrels impart elegant notes of vanilla & caramel, giving the spirit a luxuriant amber hue. This transformation yields an Absinthe charged with depth & character. It is exquisite when savored neat & adds exceptional depth when added to cocktails.

Absinthe is always enjoyable when it is simply paired with cold water. Absinthia Absinthes are designed to be refreshing & flavorful without sugar. No need to add a sugarcube unless it fits your mood.

Necromancer Cocktail Recipe

Rooted in the storied tradition of the Corpse Reviver cocktail (a lineage dating back to the 1870s), the Necromancer is the considered work of New York mixologist Mayur Subbarao. By replacing orange liqueur with elderflower, he allows Absinthe’s natural character to take center stage: the spirit’s anise and fennel qualities balanced by bright citrus and delicate floral notes. The result is precise, layered, and quietly compelling. We recommend Absinthia Absinthe Blanche for this cocktail due to its refined character and authentic Swiss recipe heritage.
