New Orleans has poured Absinthe for centuries. Now it has its first woman distiller. Meet Absinthia!

Which is a more mischievous creature, a Fairy or a Leprechaun? None of us will probably ever know for sure, but I’m placing my bet on fairies, especially Green Fairies!
I’m inviting the playful spirit of the Leprechaun to join this festive cocktail recipe to celebrate Irish heritage and St. Patty’s Day.
With St. Patty’s Day around the corner, I set out to make an Absinthe cocktail because Tis-the-season-to-celebrate-Green! Green is my favorite color. As you may know, green is also associated with my favorite spirit Absinthe. To find out why Absinthe is green read this blog post.
My idea was to assemble a cocktail called the Green Fairy & the Leprechaun. Much to my delight, I discovered that someone had already created a delicious Absinthe cocktail to be enjoyed on St. Patty’s Day called the Fairy and the Leprechaun! I found this recipe on Rachel Pounds blog.
