Absinthe Suissesse

The Absinthe Suissesse is a New Orleans classic, and one of the most elegant expressions of absinthe in cocktail form. Absinthia Absinthe Verte pairs with Small Hand Foods Orgeat syrup and a silky blend of egg white and single cream, producing a drink that is at once rich and remarkably light. Served over shaved ice, it offers a welcome and refined respite from the heat.

Ingredients
  

  • 1½ oz Absinthia Absinthe Verte
  • ½ oz Small Hand Foods Orgeat syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • ½ oz single cream
  • 4 oz shaved ice

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Cocktail Glass
  • Jigger

Method
 

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend for five seconds.
  2. Pour into a chilled cocktail glass and enjoy while it's cold.
