Brunelle

The Brunelle Frappé is a modern revival of an obscure gem from The Savoy Cocktail Book. Absinthia Absinthe takes center stage, its herbal complexity balanced by bright lemon and a touch of simple syrup, served over pebble ice in the refreshing tradition of the classic Absinthe Frappé. This cocktail is light, inviting, and subtly refined like our beloved Absinthe Blanche, and it's a drink you'll want to enjoy again and again.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Course: Artisan Drink, Craft Cocktail

Ingredients

  • ½ oz Absinthia Absinthe Blanche
  • 1 ½ oz Lemon juice
  • 1 ½ oz Sugar

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Jigger
  • Rocks Glass

Method

  1. Add Absinthia Absinthe Blanche, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker with a handful of pebble ice.
  2. Next Whip-shake the ingredients together. To do this make a few short, quick shakes to lightly chill and combine the ingredients without over-diluting.
  3. Pour the contents directly into a chilled double rocks glass and swizzle briefly to integrate.
  4. Top with more pebble ice and garnish with a lemon wedge.
